Don't stay here !!!! I booked a room in this hotel for the Canton Fair '06. I used Am Ex to confirm my bookings for 2 periods (October 19th to 21st and also Cctober 24th to 28th) The hotel confirmed my bookings but on arrival I was told that the hotel was full I had to find alternative accomadation. To make matters worse, the hotel charged my Am Ex card for a 'no show' for the second part of my booking and because the hotel had a signed confirmation from me, Am Ex could not refund my money. Stay away from this seedy rip off establishment.

I stayed here for the Canton Fair in April of 2004.
Therefore, I will discribe it as a business trip in mind.
At this time, the hotel has 2 mini buses that will take you to the new and the old Canton Fair facility.
This hotel is closer to the new Pazhou complex. (10 mins.)
The route schedule was always on time. However, the mini bus will only fit +-20 passengers.
The hotels facilities are weak.
The lobby is the size of my garage.
The hotel's restaurant which is where we ate breakfast (included ) is located in the building next door on the 3rd floor.
The room is your typical type and it did the job.
There's really nothing you can do in this hotel but sleep.
I ventured out on foot every night to check out the locals.
I stayed here on a recommendation from a supplier which got me the room at this particular time.
I would not stay at this hotel unless is under the same circumstances.

We just walked up to the counter and there were rooms available.
On a weekday, we paid $45-$50 USD for a newly refurbished room on a newly refurbished floor. Had we choosen an older room, the rate would even be cheaper.
The room was very decent, and very modern. I especially liked the glass top computer table and the huge view windows overlooking the main street below. The bathroom was almost brand new and sparkling clean. The beds were very comfortable.
